haha and just wnated to say im vvv proud of myself for resisting the temptation to shop at the mango sale! hahaha. saw a few stuff i really liked, but not enough to warrant paying 30plus for them. kk stingy but who cares? mhmm... haha the last time i left mango with like 2tops 2skirts etc. but this time, after going isetan and taka mango, nothing! hahaha yay!
then again this might have sthg to do w the larger shopping draw looming up ahead.. going to hk at the start of the summer sales is no joke man! hahaha. ok yay! exciting. except that i have to go ard alone. sighs. but im not plannign to shop all 3days im there.. will walk ard and explore the place too! yay okay.

going to hong kong later today! hahaha cant wait for all taht eating and shopping just waiting to be done =P hahaha. exciting. and im staying in the central area, the business district. amazing. its walking distance to about 10 shopping centres. heh fun eh. i will post pictures here. and i shall endeavour not to spend too much. i've seriously shopped too much already. side effect of being too free. sighs. hahaha.
k will blog in maybe 4+ days time after i get back on sat!

not working and staying at home has been quite surreal... even now as im online blogging, chatting with zhihan, and feeling as though if i dont get up right now im going to be late for my brow threading at 1215 (yes shu, i finally decided to go try it out haha, on the spur of the moment that is)
yesterday, the first wkday of liberation, i woke, and rushed to shower, change, pack, and went over to my old office to pass delicious royce chocolates to them. oh yes i totally recommend the royce bitter nama chocs, which cost like $12.60 per box, but are really vv delicious, just the right amount of bitterness, and the choc is really high quality and quite fine. yeah. then rushed to nus, only to find that i was too late for the medical checkup cos the clinic closes at 1145 for lunch, and that i dont have to pay accomodation app fee cos im considered international student cos im msian and they havent verified my pr-ship yet. so what a waste of time right, but thank goodness i met qiantai... nice nice qiantai, it was good catching up with him, and well i guess walking ard finding the union office w him.. and just chit chatting in general. nice. then i met up w my sweet lawrence, who tapaoed nice fried rice from ocs canteen for me haha... just so i can try how good the food is there, and how worth, cos its $2 for a huge plate of fried rice that was enuff for both our lunches. haha.. amazing. ive gotten too used to shenton way $5 lunches already. then it was studio wu again... nice to be back there. hahaa got a great workout at the technique class.. really really sorry for dragging fiona there where she felt qt out of her league.. sorry dear! then an evening finishing up my book. nice day
now i just spent the morning guzzling more food... gosh think im going to be like 55kg soon. shit. anyhow, and researching on good places to eat and shop in hongkong. going there tmr. will be walking ard myself cos dad's on a working trip and i just tompang haha. ohwells. get to eat more good food there tho haha.. and gonna be late for my appt, and im going to meet fiona for shopping and pilates later.

ok was in 2 near accidents today. let me recount them:
the first i was at kent ridge, with fiona and lawrence, going to see pgp. and i turned out of some lane at a T-junction and sun was glaring in my eyes, cldnt see the 2 oncoming cars, nearly knocked them.. but stopped in time.
the second was abt 20mins ago i was driving home from dinner at serangoon there w my parents and uncle, and i was driving larh. k then there was this cyclist by the road and i was like k i shall keep away to not hit the cyclist. and at this minor road junction (i was on the major road) this other reckless cyclist (who was part of a bunch, prob night cycling larh) suddenly rode out onto the main road at super fast speed, and he curved out in an ultra wide turn, so it was like suddenly cutting into my lane ultra alot. i really almost killed him if i din swerve into the next lane to avoid him. crazy man. even my dad (who's sometimes skeptical of my driving) said it wasnt my fault.
the morbid thing about the whole 2 incidents was that i hoped something had happened. i went away hoping i had like died or gotten seriously injured or something. but then again i had passengers who're all near and dear to me. so haha good thing nothing happened.
anyhow i settled on pgp already... i know its totally out of pt of staying in nus, but i think its pretty cosy and nice plus walking distance to med, so yeah im okay.
going for union camp! 5-9 july... haha... out of the entire camp of 200odd ppl, only 4 medics. mad right hahaha. and its interesting, everytime someone asks u what fac u're from, i'll reply k medicine. and either their eyes will widen in the "wow u got into med" expression, or there'll be the "oh shucks. muggers. this og sucks, with medics we'll be so boring already".
like what the hell hahaha...
stupid assumptions and generalisations of medics.

ladida. i want to run jump skip and hop! haha i'm high =) had a great lunch today, my boss brought me out and treated me cos its my 2nd last day of work! haha and she's vv nice and easy to talk to.. so it was really great =) and now i wanted to do something exciting tonight. was supposed to meet brandon who dint feel like coming out. haha dunno larh just have this urge to talk and laugh with someone... heh. okay. i'm blogging from office when i'm supposed to be rushing this report out so that i can end work tomorrow!
gosh so many plans for when i finally dont have to work! exciting! =)

hey... so interesting i log on on a sunday morning and suddenly, my tagboard that was fairly dead over the past few days suddenly came to life! haha. thanks for tagging.... :)
zhiyin + em: oh no... yeah its a horrible thing to have to decide about... i was pretty sure i want to stay on campus, cos like i need to learn how to be independent and all.. and am thoroughly sick of travelling the long dist from my hse to nus. when i was there for sem2 this year, was so pissed off everytime i had to make the almost 1.5hr-2hr journey home. sheesh it was mad. like if i had a test at 1, i had to leave at 1130, and maybe be late summore haha. yeah so im adamant about stayng lahr. so the decision was just about hall or pgp.
toe: thanks for ur advice too! heh amazing u'll be my senior next year again! =) yay haha.
i think i decided on pgp, because although life there in itself is more isolated, and less happening i guess, the happening-ness of it is up to urself. unlike hall where everything is just booming and happening around u, and im not sure if i want my studies to slide cos of that larh. haha i summarised it into 2 things: hall basically represents the old comfort zone, like u know, school in jc or sec, (sort of anyhow) where things are always happening, life is always there, there's always people around... yeah. and pgp represents like the next stage, where it mimics normal life to some extent, where people usually live by themselves and do the activities they choose to do. it was a tough decision lahr. heh part of the thing that made me decide was um its proximity to med campus, cos i like to walk, and pgp is pretty much walking distance... whilst the halls are fairly far away, tho that really doesnt matter cos of the really regular shuttle bus. oh yeah ahd that i get to cook at pgp, and that i'm probably going to go for class a room = clean own toilet, hmmms. initially thot that it would be not so bad cos well ppl like baorong and huiling said they wld be there, which means that still got friends. now, br decided not to stay whilst huiling has somehow chosen the happening route again hahaha. and my dear fiona still dunno where to stay.
sighs. the perils of pre-university life. hahaha.
oh yes. and despite me having decided, i cant access the website to apply. like what the hell hahaha...
going shopping again today! i keep going shopping. soon my cupboard will burst. thank goodness we're renovating i get a bigger cupboard hahahaha.

i just got a powerbook! oh goodness, its so beautful and sleek and pretty, and the functions are wonderful! hahaha i love ilife too! slight problems with IM - instant messenging, cos i cant use the nice new msn messenger, and the messenger for mac doesnt have video streaming so i cant hold video conferencing even though i've finally got a webcam with a mic! hahaha ohwells ohohoh but my downstairs pc also got webcam liao so i guess i want theni just have to use the comp at home one lor. hehs. hahaha. im in love with my 12" powerbook... beautiful.
got it for abt $2600, then i got mac office, a starck optical mouse, 2 pretty good digitech webcams, a wireless router, and the whole thing cost me $3260 thereabouts! i think for so many things its quite ok larh. ohohoh and my mac office allows for 3 installs. so im promoting on my blog - not that anyone actually reads it heh but never hurts to try. i got it for about $250. so right, actually 3 ppl can use it. so if anyone gets a mac/apple notebook, please tell me, i'll let u use my mac office to install for just $80. can save alot. cos right now i cant find anyone to share the office software with. so yeah. hahaha.
happy with my beeaauutiful powerbook haha. now if only it were white. like the ibook. but the ibook is less powerful than the powerbook. and im super in love with the wonderful graphics card on the powerbook heh heh heh. even lawrence (computer pro) is impressed with my powerbook. he's so nice! went with me to choose and buy, then came home with me to help me set up the wireless, and my notebook and all! so nice =)
okok i shall continue exploring my powerbook now! hee!

trying to decide whether to stay in pgp or hall! haha pgp seems to nice and clean and well i want the class a room if i stay there, and i get to cook, and its more privacy, and all that... ladida... but hall seems more happening and damn fun! sigh. cant decide. i noe that i want to stay with fiona tho haha =) so fun =) all the medics are staying in pgp. most of them anw...
hall/pgp/hall/pgp? sigh...
i cant wait to stop work haha. when i din work i cldnt wait to earn $$. k fine. that part is cool. but now i keep thiking of all the stuff i want to do before school starts, and i cant wait to do them! gonna be working for another 2wks, till next fri max... then well i get to slack till nus starts. heh. unless i find another job halfway like a parttime one or sthg. haha but bummer me will prob not. dunno lahr. haha i feel so pampered. i want to shop, i want to get my powerbook, i want to read books, i want to make handicrafts, i want to go places, i want to meet my old friends... etcetcetc sigh haha... i want to go back to assisi too.. ! heh almost forgot abt that place arleady so long ago. haha... k a few more days earn a couple more hundred bucks! then can rest. YAY!

hello! goodness i realised how i havent blogged in such a freaking long time! kk updates updates!
UNI: thanks huisin and di for tagging, and the countless other ppl who've sort of given me advice. i guess i chose NUS... still feels abit like im doing the right thing versus not doing what i want. but really i think nus is the most practical choice, and besides with it, both my parents and i have better quality of life, and we can enjoy more... and yeah. i can even get my own car now with the savings i have. muahaha. not yet larh i guess haha but heh heh heh... *glint in eye* haha nah i intend to invest that money. yeps.
i just came back from 2 trips to msia!
last last wkend went back for the prayers for my ah kong's one year death anniversary. lotsa food pls. so much food... cos my granny cooked so much for the prayers so we ended up having feasts. haha.
and recently i just got home today, tanned =P cos we went to pulau perhentian, snorkelling, which was great and i swam with a giant turtle, and many many corals and fishes etc. and penang again where i swam in the pool... and ate durians cos my dad is mad about them. im not crazy about them seriously; only downside is that dad and his frens (who went on the trip. 3 families, 13 ppl in total) all v siao abt durian and htey love to feed it to ppl to. so i ended up being so stuffed wiht durian and unrelated stuff that i was too full to eat my favourite hawker food. sigh. i didnt eat ONE thing at all and i was there 3 days and 3 nights. mad right.
ate ALOT of freaking cheap seafood at so many places tho. yeah.
and its amazing. i lost weight throughout this trip of bingeing and sleeping. sighs.
oh yes and today is the wedding day of my cousin jimmy (whos 20over) and this girl (my age) who has barely finished her alevels in msia. she has to take it at the end of this year. ok anyhow i pity her. cos my this cousin doesnt really ahve a great reputation. but she's really really really pretty anyhow. and the food at the wedding luncheon was good. except that the groom got drunk and collasped at the end of it sighs. poor biao-sao. ohwells. weird to call "sao" for someone ur age. hahaha
yeah my update. and to lynn, driving's great! haha yeaps! :)
