oh gosh im awake at this hour. on a friday night. no. saturday morning =P hehe... my nocturnal hours have started to become weird. maybe i ate too much supper so i cant fall asleep. HMMS. finally its friday, in the week of alternate school days. staying at home with all its creature comforts (access to the fridge, unlimited wardrobe, someone to clean up after you, food placed on the table during meals so tt i dun have to go asearchin for food...) is really wonderful, and well staying at home, i dont feel so alone. nice. hehe...

this week was the week of the 7k run too =) ran with zhenjin and liwei on wednesday after class... at a sweltering 3pm in the afternoon BLEAH. but didnt feel it larh, cos when u have good company, u dun feel the heat so much - bullshit. still damn hot. the trees helped shield heat. hehe. then ran today with lawrence after sch and mug too. hmms. feeling abit fitter. but hehe... =P my route goes thru the windy south buona vista rd, thru the housing estate, down pasir panjang rd, linking to west coast highway, turn right at clementi rd, enter nus thru the bus terminal after passing fongseng. haha that and all the other variations associated with it. =)

today was the week of sitting with celene and bean, who're the best. =) havent felt this comfortable with being in my own skin and around other ppl in med in awhile, and these babes just make it better, and are so fun to be with =) and marcus who saves seat for me (cos he comes like damn early???) and the rest of us too, cos this wk ive been walking into the LT abt 10-15mins later than my usual time. heh thanks marc.

had lunch w prof koh dow rhoon today. purely unintentional, was in nuh staff canteen with chiara and dennis when he decided to join us haha. i wonder if he's gg to read this post, because, amazingly, he reads student blogs. haha i wonder how he comes across them. but yes - prof, im not one of those vocal ppl who instigate the noise in the LT - that's why i sit in front, cos ppl there just talk lesser - im the one who's either too sleepy to stay awake, or being a muggertoad busy copying notes (i think - i hope). so erm blogging medical students dont equal noisy vocal students. they could also mean bored medical student typing to update friends overseas abt her life, or just simply bored medical student exploring the avenue of blogging because its the thing to do now, and its just fun. that's for me anw.

but anw take home msg frm lunch: as proud medical students, we must take charge of ourselves, and hold ourselves with dignity and repect. we must respect our lecturers too (and dont come in when u're late), and we should help to keep our class quiet during lectures - i.e. if you really want to listen, and ppl around u are buzzing away distractingly, don't be like me and simply passively move down to the front of the LT, but tell those ppl to keep quiet, because its disturbing you. then we'll all make nus lt28 a happier, quieter place during lectures every morning.

there. prof, i helped u to spread ur message =)

contrary to what the "slightly" older generation believe, blogs arent really a way for me to air my views. i have no views (tho that can be considered a view). i just type for fun. i dont care who reads them. my friends probably do - some of them anw...and well i suppose random members of the public. i probably derive more pleasure from reading my own blog than do others - yes narcissistic me... and i find reading blogs interesting, because it reminds me that in this isolated world of ME, there're other people leading separate, divergent, different lives too. and i find that THAT makes for a great daily read. my dad's constantly amazed at how i can even put my thoughts online, on the WORLD WIDE DOMAIN. for the world to see. *shrugs* not that anyone wld really care to know what i'm thinking anw. im far from the singaporean blogger who injects profanities into every parag, and spouts singlish, hokkien, whatever "chapalang" language all over the place. haha cos no one but my frens reads this languishing blog anw haha..

ohwells. the AM rambles.

wondering if i shld be gg to pulau ubin with my old council friends for cycling... whilst reading resp in berne & levy now... seems like great fun and great company, but i do want to head down to harvey norman to check out their sale ( i so do want to replace my currently pok camera), and i desperately need to start studying for the impending CAs. 3weeks!!! *runs around in a panic*

decisions, decisions, decisions. bleargh.

maybe i shld just sleep now.
