had a very enjoyable cny lunch at raffles hotel's bar and billards room yesterday. we go there at chinese new year every year! haha enjoy the spread and the ambience. this year, because auntie kimsiang (sel's mum) called us at 11am to ask abt something, we decided to invite her along too! so ended up at raffles hotel for lunch with sel's parents. SELENE DEAREST! U HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I MISSED U THEN!!!! vv enjoyable, the food was alright, nice cheeses and oysters; too bad no alaskan crab leg this yr haha... i liked the lychee rose champagne shots too. didnt take any pictures cos was too busy eating and enjoying the moment. darn i shld have. mum was wearing this ultra bright cheongsam that had vibrant pink and red roses printed all over it! hahahaha... she's had that for 2yrs but nv dared to wear it. dad and i bolstered her courage! hahahha...she looked nice la =)

today was ORANGE DAY! for my anat group. i walked into the LT mins before the lecture started and i cldnt believe how BRIGHT we were! gosh. they were sitting in 2 rows right in the middle of the LT. SO STRIKING! it was damn cool hahaha. too bad no seat for the latecomer me, so i sat with joshua and marcus and bean who had kindly saved seat for me (as usual!) hehe... but marcus and joshua were in bright orange too! so we formed our own little orange row there. haha.. the satelite orange ppl away frm the main grp hehehe.. prof kaur mildly remarked "how come everyone's in orange and red today (zhengfeng the toot went to wear red, HAIZ)" and we told her cny MUST MUST MUST wear orange. hahaha... gosh she questioned us really thoroughly today. i went to answer one abt e cavernous sinus, cos i thought i read quite ample-ly for it and wanted to test myself. but totally cldnt remember the relations and connections. BAH. sighs must mug more. heehee took pic with prof kaur outside the anat hall, and lots of random shots at the canteen where we slacked before histo pract (kaur again!) at 11. but all the photos are in yingxian'x camera so must wait till i get frm him before i blog them haha...

the soma ppl are going cable skiing soon. basically u wear skis, and get pulled around a lagoon by a cable in circles. its apparently v challenging to try and stand up. blah. haha... check it out here at www.cable-ski.com. interesting eh. hahaha... but i shall be v busy in the next 2 wks (read: cny and vday and special person's 21st bday) so think i'll give that a miss. =)
