the soma ppl and a few of the og friends came over this afternoon/evening. great opportunity to bake =)
everyone was like sianning about the upcoming vivas list. really hope me (nor anyone else) ends up on that dreaded list. sighs. fun to catch up with people though. oh and celene brought us to eat REALLY GOOD beef kway teow at siglap. marcus had an interesting banter with the stall uncle who kept coming over to ask how his kway teow compared with his rival's at purvis street. HAHA. bitchy competition there. but his was seriously good. i havent tried the purvis st one tho.

guys, thanks for popping by today. esp zhenjin for coming ALL THE WAY down from school after malay. and cel, who got lost here, and marcus who bought horshua and zhen nice and ex prawn mee... and zhen for rushing over the moment u woke up, and horshua for erm slicing the nice vine tomatoes, and weimin who totally got lost at some ulu jalan something and like enming who lives nearby. and like other ppl too.
i was kinda scared no one wld turn up cos nobody rsvped, and liwei and bean chose to stay home to mug. GUYS, ITS THE HOLS MAN!?! ok im starting to sound pathetic.

i made a nice-looking tomato puff pastry tart, which turned soggy after awhile cos of the juicy vine tomatoes. and nice choc cake, which i felt was slightly dry. didnt take photo of the cake, cos it wasnt very interesting to look at.

the leftover puff pastry i used to make an apple dessert tart/puff thingey for my parents later after the friends left.

fun day. have to wake up at 4am to go to msia tmr for ching ming jie. sighs.

oh and my darling got 6th in his google india programming comp in bangalore where he is now! soo proud of u darling! whee!
