hmms was reading some of the blogs of ppl who're off in the states.. im so envious!!! sigh.. new environment, new campuses, new architecture around you... new people, new friends, new culture.. what i always envisioned for myself... i want to study in the states. my childhood dream. but it was not meant to be... so now im stuck in stuffy nus with loads of mugger doctors-to-be (haha sorrysorry joking yeah but its true), which though is fun, but i feel like im missing out on the whole university experience. ladida... but well at least im close to home, to my parents, granny, lawrence, and everyone else too... and the food, and well im independent too cos im living on campus. will miss this in year 3 when i probably will live at home again heh...

but i think that nus provides a pretty reasonable education... nothing bad. quite good and prepares u quite well.. its just that alot of us were inculcated since young that its very prestigious to get a scholarship and go overseas... so its like awe-inspiring to do so. but well im glad that i didnt give up my dream of doing medicine to pursue this path... because the scholarship path will be nice for maybe 4years of uni education, and then the job u do may/may not be what u want. but you got the uni experience. but whereas medicine is for life, as the dean said the other day. im studying now to prepare for the rest of my life, when one day i will probably have to decide whether tenosynovitis in the phalanges will possibly spread to the palm region and all and everything else, which would really be based on what i know how and how well i assimilate it. so its vv impt to mug properly. haha.. i feel so important suddenly =P

on another note, lawrence just told me that rachel said i was her favourite senior!!! so nice =)=)=) and she bought me chocs from vienna when she went there ages ago=) haha..
