been spending a chunk of the past 2weeks or so prepping for lawrence's 21st bday haha. which happens to be tmr. the day before vday hehe...
anw his parents threw him a party with his relatives today... and it was really fun! shall post some pictures of it here =)

lawrence with one of his bday cakes (he had 2) and his family, grandpa and me! i look SO EXTRA here gosh.

got him a soldier pinata to commerate his upcoming ORDing =) hehe... the kids had lots of fun with that. he had like a truckload of pretty young cousins. haha...

the younger boys esp were whacking the thing damn hard la. i kept worrying that it wld break before it got to lawrence's turn. haha cos we went in a supposedly youngest to oldest order. see the flour flying out? i dumped flour inside too cos hopefully lawrence wld get a white head aft breaking open the thing. it added for dramatic effect anw =P

but just before it reached us 86' babies, who're cheryl (cousin), lawrence's bro raymond and me, the pinata soldier thing broke at the neck. so we had a decapitated soldier on the floor. the boys scrambled to go shake the sweets out, hehe but i stopped them.
got the bday boy to break it in whatever manner he chose to instead haha. he lay the soldier on the floor and smacked it at a very "sensitive" position till it broke in half hahha.

then the kids had a mad scramble for all the sweets hehehehe... fun =)

the night before i made creampuffs too. they turned out really wonderfully. so i brought a whole lot of creampuffs with cold custard and peach inside sprinkled with icing sugar. they loved it! it was snapped up quickly haha his uncle even wanted us to drive back to my hse to get more for them despite my hse being like half an hr away. gosh haha.. =P

my fave photo of the day =) lawrence and his brother smeared in cake and cream. fortunately, i emerged (from beside lawrence when he got smashed) unscathed. =)
