today's apple kuchen.
somewhat mixed reviews - e soma ppl had hardly any comment, tho kaixiang did say it was nice haha... my parents and lawrence loved it. i wonder if there is some bias around there =P oh i know why. my parents and lawrence had it hot. the others didnt. that prob explains it. haha... whatever larh. it looked GORGEOUS. =) in my opinion of course. haha...

long long long queue at the east coast park hawker centre for satay beehoon. i waited for 25mins behind this siao guy who kept turning around to stare at me (UGH)... but it was OH SO WORTH IT. absolutely delish, lawrence n i savoured every drip of the sauce. great dinner with satay beehoon, cuttlefish kangkong and bbq chicken wings! hahaha... no photos tho. we gobbled it all up, plus it was too dark.

soma is starting to show some progress. FINALLY. covering our hands with charcoal dust to determine if the kids' handwashing methods are good should work. and we're going to try to make soap in my house next wednesday. SCARY. the lot better not burn my house down HAHAHA. no i shld be more worried abt KE7 because weiming wants to burn wood there to get wood ash, which we need to leach to make lye (which is a caustic sodium hydroxide powder), which we need to make soap.

yesterday was a whole slack-at-home-uber-movie-marathon. watched bewitched the movie, the first wives club, and in her shoes. then this morning was calendar girls. you can see that i like girl power happifying chick flicks. but HEY you dont need a brain to watch these. and right now, i dont want to use my brain after 7 mths of overuse thankyou. ice age 2 later! whee!

ballroom tmr, and shopping with cel before that! i cant wait already! =)
