focaccia bread again.


tried this recipe out again on thursday. with black olives and some olive oil in the batter this time. it was amazing. fresh out of the oven in the crisp fresh dawn, my mum and i hacked it apart, peeling off the sea-salt+olive+herb infused crust that was so crunchy and crusty, and swooning over the steaming soft insides. a few hrs later, lawrence had a slice of it too. and he still pronounced it delicious. i tried abit. nothing beats the smell and taste of bread straight of the oven.

the only drawback abt this is that i have to premake the dough the night before, and wake up at 6am to prep it and bake it in time before my parents leave for work at 730.

here's another look at it.


shall endeavour to try making it with caramelised onions next time. =P or even oven grilled garlic. ooh.
too bad sch's reopened.
