tired tired tired, but tremendously happy.
finally got the church and priest for joan's mass worked out. In case u havent gotten the email already, it is this sat, 29 Apr, 9am at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Yishun.
everyone's been so helpful, esp since i know nuts about organising a Mass. I didnt even know what goes on in a Mass. but i had a crash course in half an hr, and im glad to say i at least know enuff to try and organise what they need, and let the Catholics do the rest =)
and im truly amazed by the spontaniety and helpfulness of all the Catholics i've come across in the past 2 days trying to org this thing. last night, lawrence's dad drove us from queensway to upper bkt timah, to yishun, back to queensway before lawrence drove me back home in east coast, just to get the church and priest. and people have been really agreeable when i ask for their help/participation. im truly touched.

i hope the venue can fit all the people whom i think are coming. i hope people come to pray for her.

i hope shufang stays strong and optimistic like i heard she has been doing. i dont really want to try and visit her, because i have an idea of how much more this time left means to her family and much closer friends. and i dont want to place additional strain and stuff on her and her tired-out mum already.

many ppl have asked me what this mass is about. joan wont be there, nor her family i think. i dont expect them to come larh. its just for people, anyone really, who want to pray for her, to come and pray for her. i suppose there's nothing much more we bystanders can do already, but to pray in her faith for her wellbeing, and that she and her family finds the strength to get through this period.
